Winners Announced: Thursday 21 August at the FWA Awards Welcome Party

  • We encourage all businesses who have a connection to the flexible workspace industry to enter (non-members included)
  • Each category will be judged by independently
  • One reference will be required
  • You can self-nominate and/or nominate others
  • The awards will be presented at the FWA awards welcome party. We strongly encourage award nominees to be in attendance. 
  • Supporting images are recommended to visually enhance your entry and provide visual context for the judges. 
  • We love personalised responses, please limit your use of AI to tailoring your application and making it shine

 

FWA Awards Party 2025

Community Manager of the Year

  • Provide us with your “day in a life” – what does a typical day as a community manager of your work space look like?
  • Provide 1-3 examples of initiatives you have implemented to enhance member experience and contribute to the overall success of your workspace community. Refer to measurable indicators of impact (e.g., growth of retention rates, NPS scores, revenue growth, etc.) in your answer.
  • Provide 1-3 examples of how you have demonstrated leadership, whether that is through community events, member conflict resolution, or managing team dynamics.

Design and Excellence:

  • Describe the process in designing your workspace, referring to the top 3 things that inform key design choices.

  • Provide 1-3 examples of how your workspace design optimises space utilisation, promotes collaboration, increases revenue generation, adapts to evolving needs or accommodates diverse work styles.

  • Provide 1-3 examples of how your workspace design integrates technology, provides unique amenities, or includes ergonomic features. Refer to any third party ratings or assessments (e.g. NABER’s, WELL) in your answer.

  • Provide 1-3 examples of how your workspace design showcases creativity, aesthetics and attention to detail to create an inspiring work environment.

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • How do you foster a diverse and inclusive work environment for your team that celebrates diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities. Provide 1-3 examples of specific initiatives you have taken to further this.

  • Explain how you actively promote diversity and representation within your workspace community, fostering opportunities for underrepresented members and groups to thrive.

  • Detail policies and practices that promote equity and fairness, ensure equal access to opportunities, resources, and support for all. Refer to any third party assessments or ratings that have been achieved in connection with your workspace (e.g. Great Place to Work, B Corp certification) in your answer.

Sustainability Impact Awards

  • Describe practices and initiatives within your workspace that either (a) reduce environmental footprint, conserve resources, or promote eco-friendly operations, or (b) engage with external community groups or promote engagement of your workspace community with external community interest or action groups.

  • What are your environmental sustainability or community impact goals? Provide 1-3 examples of how people have been engaged with these goals, or initiatives you have implemented to achieve these goals.

  • Describe how you address either environmental or social challenges while maintaining business viability. This may relate to the design and construction of your workspace, or your day to day operations. Refer to measurable indicators of impact (e.g. reduction in OpEx, increase in member NPS) in your answer.
