What is the Community Manager series?

The Community Managers series, a thoughtfully curated collection of online events, has been crafted by community managers for community managers. It serves as a dedicated platform for those, like yourself, working on the front lines with clients/members. This network provides a space to meet, learn and grow.

Lisa Maatsoo – Industry Engagement & Innovation Manager, Federation University

Lisa has a diverse range of experience in both private and public sector, across industries including building construction, aviation, primary production and regional development. Lisa currently works for Federation University, who operate and manage the Morwell Innovation Centre (MIC) located two hours east of Melbourne. The MIC promotes regional growth through industry collaboration and community engagement. The MIC operates as a conference centre and hosts events along with short programs, whilst also catering for both permanent and short-term tenants with a mix of private and shared workspaces available.

Romany Lee – Community Manager, WorkLife Picton

Romany Lee is the Community Manager at WorkLife Picton, where she fosters meaningful connections among remote workers, small businesses, and not-for-profits. With a background in film production and event management, she is passionate about building vibrant coworking communities and creating partnerships that drive local economies, professional growth, and social impact.
